Central park for the Jumeriah Garden City is one of the major open spaces for greater Dubai, scheduled for completion around 2015. Situated on approximately 2 sq km within the densest urban zone off Sheik Zayed Road, the Central Park hosts all of the amenities of a world class city park. A cultural center, waterfront stage area, business park garden, sports fields, a kid’s water park, a shaded bowl area and several sports pitches make up most of this park. Nestled against the urban fabric with neighborhood pocket parks, the Central Park of Jumeriah Garden City is truly one of the most ambitious city parks of the 21st century.
